Which one should I start with?
Pick by what you need first
- Travelling in a few months? Start with the Dialogs edition of the language you will hear. You pick up the phrases you actually need, in the order people really say them.
- Already studying it? Use the Vocabulary edition for fifteen minutes a day and keep the window docked while you work.
- Learning Chinese or Cantonese? Both ship with a romanisation line (Pinyin for Mandarin, Jyutping for Cantonese), so you can read along before you can read the characters.
